(마 17) 변화산 사건 – 오직 예수만 보이더라

이 변화산 사건이 우리에게 주는 의미는 물과 불, 그리고 모세와 엘리야의 오묘한 매칭에만 놀라움이 있는 것은 아닙니다. 여기에는 많은 것들이 있습니다. 오늘날 하나님을 믿는 사람들에게 있어 이 <변화산 사건>이 가지는 핵심적인 교훈은 다름이 아니라 “예수님 외에 다른 것이 필요치 않다.”는 것입니다.

언뜻 이 말은 신앙적으로 아주 상식적인 말인 것 같습니다. 그러나 이것은 상식 수준의 쉬운 것이 아닙니다. 많은 이들이 <예수 + Something>을 좋은 신앙으로 아주 깊이 받아들인 상태에서 살아가고 있다는 것입니다. 

“예수 믿는다면 기왕이면 교양이 있으면 좋지!”

“예수 믿는다면 기왕이면 돈이 있으면 좋지!, 헌금이나 교회에 도움도 되고.” 

그리고 때로는 교리와 같은 것도 여기에 들어갑니다. ‘교리가 있으면 사람들이 신앙적으로 미혹되는 것을 막을 수 있다.’는 것과 같은 이론이 그렇습니다. 하지만 정말로 본질적인 예수님을 알고, 그 예수님의 권세를 안다면 우리가 예수님의 일을, 하나님의 일을 걱정할 이유가 없습니다. <예수 + Something>이 좋은 것이라고 여긴다는 것은 한 마디로 <예수만으로는 부족하다.>는 의미이기 때문입니다.

베드로가 한 말, “여기가 좋사오니 우리가 초막 셋을 짓고 하나는 주를 위하여, 하나는 모세를 위하여, 하나는 엘리야를 위하”라는 말은 언뜻 신앙적인 것 같지만 잘 생각해보면 이는 예수님과 기적과 율법이 함께 있는 것, 그것이 좋다는 말인 것입니다. 그러나 하나님의 생각은 그것이 아닙니다. 예수님만 있으면 된다는 것입니다. 그래서 하나님께서 큰 소리로 그 말씀을 하신 것입니다.

우리는 믿음에 대하여 아주 자기 편의적입니다. 믿음의 정의 자체를 사람이 규정하는 것이 편의적 믿음의 정체입니다. 사람이 볼 때 ‘이러면 더 좋은 믿음’이라는 것이 있다는 것입니다. 당연히 그 내용은 사람마다 다릅니다. 그래서 갈등이 유발되기도 합니다. 그렇다는 것, 서로 무엇이 좋은 믿음인지에 견해가 다르고 통일되지 않는다는 것, 그 자체로 볼 때 이미 그것은 온전한 것이 아닙니다.

또한 예수님을 믿는 것에 있어서 기적을 일으키는 사람이나 목도한 사람이 더 좋은 신앙이고 하나님께서 더 사랑한다고 여기는 것이나, 신학이라는 사람이 만든 법아래서 수학했다는 것으로 신앙 세계에서 더 높은 자리를 인정하는 것 역시 <오직 예수만 보이는> 신앙이라고 할 수 없는 것입니다. 이미 예수에 더해서 뭔가가 있을 때 더 좋은 신앙이라고 여기고 있는데 예수님만 보인다는 것은 거짓말이기 때문입니다.

예수님을 제대로 믿는다면, 예수님께서 하나님의 아들이심을 온전히 믿는다면, 정말로 하나님의 전지전능하심을 믿는다면 예수 그리스도만, 하나님의 아들이기만 하면 모든 것이 다 된다는 믿음이 온전한 믿음인 것입니다. 구질구질하게 예수를 믿는데 ‘기왕이면’이라는 단서를 붙여가면서 조건을 다는 것, ‘믿는다면 이래야지’나 ‘교회가 되려면 목사나 장로가 있어야지’와 같은 것들은 다 하나님을 온전하게 믿는 것이 아닙니다. 예수님만 보이는 신앙이 아니라는 것입니다.

오늘날 많은 신앙인들의 신앙 안에는 예수 이외에 다른 것이 너무 많습니다. 예수님으로는 안 된다는 것입니다. 그래서 교리가 있어야 하고, 목사가 있어야 하고, 신학이 있어야 하고, 교양이 있어야 한다고들 말합니다. 그것이 없으면 하나님의 온전하심에 누를 끼친다는 것입니다. 그것은 예수님만 보이는 신앙이 아닙니다. 오히려 롯의 두 딸의 신앙인 것입니다. 예수만 보이면, 그것이면 모든 것이 다 이루어진 것입니다.

Peter said, "This is good, we build three huts, one for the Lord, one for Moses, one for Elijah." But if you think about it, Jesus and miracles The law is together, it is good. But it is not God's thoughts. Jesus is all we need. That is why God spoke with a loud voice.

We are very self-confident about faith. It is the identity of the opportunistic faith that man defines the justice of faith itself. When people look at it, there is something called 'better faith'. Of course, the contents vary from person to person. So conflicts are also triggered. That being said, it is not perfect, by itself, that the views are different and unified by what is a good faith.

The recognition of a higher place in the faith world as a better faith or a miracle worker in believing in Jesus, a better faith, a greater acceptance of God's love, Jesus can not be seen as> faith. It is a lie when you see Jesus alone because you already believe that there is something better in addition to Jesus.

If you believe in Jesus, if you truly believe that Jesus is the Son of God, if you really believe in God's omnipotence, then the belief that Jesus Christ is everything, if only you are the Son of God. It is not a faith that is visible only to Jesus.

Many believers today have too much to offer in addition to Jesus. It is not Jesus. So they say that there must be doctrine, there must be a pastor, there must be a theology, and there must be a culture. If it does not exist, it means that we are pressed to God's fullness. It is not just Jesus' faith. Rather, it is the faith of two daughters of Lot. If you see Jesus, then everything is done.
