(빌립보서 3:17-21) 구원은 만물을 다스리는 것

하나님께서 세상과 사람을 만드시고 사람에게 하신 가장 처음 말씀은 사실 선악과에 관한 것이 아니라 땅을 정복하고 만물을 다스리라는 것이었습니다.

하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되 생육하고 번성하여 땅에 충만하라, 땅을 정복하라, 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 땅에 움직이는 모든 생물을 다스리라 하시니라(창 1:28)

하나님께서 자신의 형상을 표현할 사람을 만드시고자 사람을 만드셨습니다. 그 마음에 사람을 만드신 뜻이 있었다는 것입니다. 그리고 그 사람이 하나님의 뜻과 같이 하나님의 형상을 표현하는지 아닌지는 어떻게 확인하고 나타나는지는 바로 만물을 다스리는지를 통하여 확인할 수 있다는 것입니다. 즉 사람이 하나님의 형상을 표현하기를 바라시는 목적은 무형의 의와 뜻이고, 그것이 육신으로 나타나면 만물을 다스리는 모습과 행함이 된다는 것입니다.

사람이란 존재는 분명히 존재의 목적이 있습니다. 암묵적으로 그것은 외면하면서 세상이 추구하는 것을 친구따라 강남 가듯이 무작정 따라가며 힘들어하는 것을 인생의 본질로 여기자며 산다고 목적이 없어지지 않습니다. 그렇게 살다보니 세상의 모든 것을 다스리기는커녕 세상으로 늘 신음하면서 살고 있습니다. 바로 그 어두움과 고통에서 벗어나는 것이 구원이라고도 할 수 있습니다.

그러나 사람들은 구원 받았다고 말하면서도 늘 세상과 싸우고 있습니다. 다스리지 못하고 있다는 것입니다. 만물을 다스리지 못하는데 구원을 받았다고 합니다. 그것이 궁색하니 죽어서 천국 가는 것으로 구원을 대변합니다. 그것은 분명한 외면이지만 서로 묵인합니다. 세상은 다스릴 수 없기에 그렇고, 이렇게 다스려지지 않는 세상의 끝에 예수님께서 오시면 이 세상을 다 멸할 것이라고 기대합니다. 사람도 세상의 일부이건만.

만물을 다스린다는 것은 맘대로 하는 것이 아닙니다. 그것은 신이 되고자 하는 것입니다. 맘대로 하겠다는 것의 실체는 선하고 악한 심판을 자신이 하겠다는 것입니다. 만물이 자기 선함의 기준대로 되도록 하는 것이 다스림이라고 생각합니다. 그게 선악과입니다. 하나님과 같이 되겠다는 것입니다. 그러나 만물을 다스린다는 것은 만물이 존재하는 목적대로, 모든 만물을 통하이 하나님의 성품을 표현하고 있다는 것을 알고, 그 표현함을 인하여 자신도 하나님의 성품을 나타내는 아들로 살아가는 것입니다.

그러므로 만물을 다스리지 못한다면 구원을 받은 사람이라 할 수 없습니다. 할 수 없는 것이 아니라 그냥 아닙니다. 만물의 존재 목적을 모르면 구원이 없는 것입니다. 만물의 존재 목적은 하나님께로부터 온 것이기에 그것을 모른다는 것은 하나님을 모르는 것입니다. 자기 존재의 목적을 모르는데, 목적 안으로 회복된 구원을 안다고 할 도리가 없는 것입니다. 그것은 하나님도 어쩔 수 없는 것입니다.

바울사도가 빌립보의 성도들에게 구원을 이루라고 하고, 그 구원을 이룬 자신은 얼마가 될지 모르지만 살 동 계속 그 구원을 삶으로 이루어낼 것이라며 그것을 또한 본받으라고 권면하고 있습니다. 그리고 그것이야 말로 진정한 기쁨이라는 것도 함께 말씀하고 있습니다. 그리고 그 구원을 이루는 삶을 살면 예수님께서 그러셨듯이 만물이 복종하게 될 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다.

그런데 일반적인 관점에서 옥에 갇힌 바울사도가 만물을 다스린다고 할 수 있을까요? 사람들이 옥에 갇히는 것을 좋아하지 않으니 원하지 않는 일일 것입니다. 그렇게 원치 않는 일이 일어났다면 당연히 다스리지 못한 것인데도 바울사도는 만물을 다스리는 것을 아는 사람으로서 빌립보의 성도들에게 그렇게 될 것이라고 권면하고 있다는 것입니다. 이것만 봐도 사람이 자기 원하는 대로 되는 것이 다스림은 아닌 것입니다. 바울사도의 상황이 만물을 다스리는 상황이 되려면 그 상황도 하나님의 목적 안에 있다는 것을 인정되어야 하는 것입니다.

다시 한 번 말씀드리지만 다스림은 맘대로 하는 것이 아니라 존재의 목적대로 대하고 활용하는 것입니다. 선풍기를 밟고 올라가고 싶다는 마음대로 밝고 올라서도 견뎌야 선풍기를 다스리는 것이 아니라 선풍기의 존재 목적대로 시원한 바람을 이용하는 것이 다스리는 것입니다. 그래서 사람들은 물건을 목적대로 잘 사용하는 것을 잘 다룬다고 하는 것입니다. 

그와 같이 세상의 모든 만물이 하나님의 성품을 나타내는 것을 인하여 존재한다는 것을 알고 그 존재의 목적대로 세상을 수용하고 자신도 하나님의 성품을 표현하며 살아가는 것이 바로 만물을 다스리는 진정한 모습인 것입니다. 그리고 그것이 바로 구원이고, 그렇게 살아보지 못한 사람들은 이해도 상상도 할 수 없는 기쁨인 것입니다. 그래서 예수님께서는 예수님이 주시는 기쁨을 세상이 알지 못한다고 하신 것입니다.

하나님을 믿어 구원에 이른 사람은 세상에 불만이 없습니다. 모든 것이 하나님의 영광을 위하여 존재한다는 것을 알기 때문입니다. 하나님을 믿기에 하나님을 빌어 세상일이 자기 맘대로 되는 것이 아니라 사람의 인생과 육신은 그 영광을 위하여, 하나님께서 하나님의 성품을 위하여 소비하는 것이라는 것을 안다는 것입니다. 그것을 위한 것이라면 때로 육신의 수고는 물론 목숨도 십자가에 드리신 예수님과 같이 살게 되는 것이 바로 구원의 삶이라는 것을 아는 것입니다. 이것을 모른다면 구원이야 당연히 없는 삶이고, 구원에 대하여 입을 열 자격도 없는 것입니다. 먼저 하나님께서 세상과 자신을 만드신 뜻을 알기 전까지는.

The very first word God made to the world and man and to man was not actually about good and evil, but about conquering the earth and ruling over all things.

God made man to make man to express his image. There was a will in the heart that made man. In other words, the purpose of a person to express the image of God is intangible righteousness and will, and when it is manifested in the flesh, it becomes a figure and a deed of ruling all things.

The existence of a person is clearly a purpose of existence. Tentatively, it disappears, and the purpose of living is to live as the essence of life that does not follow along with the pursuit of the world as a friend. I live so long in the world that I live so much that I do not rule everything in the world. It can be said that escaping from the very darkness and suffering is salvation.

But people are always fighting the world even when they say they are saved. I can not control it. I can not control all things, I have been saved. It is hard to say that we are saved by going to heaven and going to heaven. It is obvious, but tolerates each other. The world can not be governed, and I expect that if Jesus comes at the end of this uncontrolled world, it will destroy the whole world. People are part of the world.

It is not what you want to rule over everything. It is to be god. The reality of being willing is that you will do good and evil judgment. I think that it is the reign of all things to be according to the standards of goodness. That is good and bad. It is to be like God. But to rule over all things is to know that all things are expressing the character of God in all things, for the purpose that all things exist, and because of his expression, he also lives as a son who represents God's character.

Therefore, if you can not rule all things, you can not be saved. Not just not, not just. If you do not know the purpose of existence of all things, there is no salvation. The purpose of existence of all things is from God, and knowing it does not know God. There is no reason to know the purpose of self-existence but to know the salvation recovered into purpose. The Apostle Paul encourages the Siblings of Philippi to be saved and that he will accomplish the salvation of life even though he may be the one who made it. And it is also true joy that we are talking together. And if you live a life of salvation, you are saying that everything will be subject to obedience as Jesus did.

But from a general point of view, can the Apostle Paul, who is confined to jail, be ruling all things? People do not like being trapped in jail, so it would not be what they want. If you do not want to do that, you do not rule it out, but the apostle Paul exhorts you to know that you will rule over all things and that it will happen to the saints of Philippi. It is not a reign that man can do as he wants. If the circumstances of the apostle Paul are to be in control of all things, then it must be acknowledged that the circumstances are in God's purpose.

Again, I will tell you that it is not about doing what you want but about using it for the purpose of existence. I want to go up on the electric fan I want to go up brightly, but I can not endure the fan, but rather the purpose of the fan is to use the cool winds. So people are saying that they are good at using things well for their purpose.

As such, knowing that all things in the world exist because of the character of God, and accepting the world according to the purpose of that being, and living in expressing the character of God himself, is the true image of everything. And that is the salvation, and those who have not lived that way are joy that neither understanding nor imagination can imagine. So Jesus said that the world does not know the joy of Jesus.

He who believes in God and comes to salvation has no complaints in the world. Because we know that everything exists for the glory of God. I believe in God, that God does not make things happen, but that man's life and body know that God is consuming God's character for his glory. If it is for this purpose, knowing that it is the life of salvation that sometimes living with Jesus who gave His life to the cross as well as the labor of the flesh. If you do not know this, salvation is a life without it, and you are not qualified to open your mouth about salvation. Until we know the meaning of God and the world made of Him.
