(로마서 8:18-25) 모든 피조물이 바라는 것

세상의 모든 피조물, 존재하는 모든 것은 형식을 가지고 있습니다. 또 하나의 세계라고 할 수 있는 사람들이 만든 것들, 작은 소품에서 우주선에 이르기까지 사람들이 만든 모든 것 역시 형식입니다. 그리고 그 형식들은 하나의 예외 없이 사람들에 의하여 그 존재의 목적이 부여되어 있습니다. 작은 막대 두 개라고 해도 무방한 젓가락은 밥 먹을 때 사용하기 위하여 만들어졌고, 우주선은 우주여행과 탐사를 위하여 만들어졌습니다.

그렇듯 모든 피조물은 자기 존재의 목적이 있습니다. 그리고 그것은 자신을 만든 이가 가지고 있습니다. 모든 피조물의 존재 목적은 창조자, 제조자가 가지고 있다는 것입니다. 즉 모든 피조물이 가진 형식은 창조자의 의가 형식이 된 것이라는 것입니다. 이동을 해야겠다는 사람들의 생각이 자동차를 만들었고, 멀리 있는 사람과 대화해야겠다는 사람들의 생각이 전화라는 형식으로 나타난 것이라는 것입니다.

그렇게 볼 때 모든 피조물이 가진 형식은 창조자의 생각이 형상을 가지게 된 것입니다. 먼저 있었던 창조자의 생각은 형식이 없는 눈에 보이지 않는 것이었는데 그것이 창조자에 의하여 형식이 되었다는 것입니다. 성경에서 말씀하시는 ‘아들’이라는 존재도 이 법과 궤를 같이 합니다. 아버지가 가진 의가 아버지와 동일한 생명 정체성을 가진 형식으로 나타난 존재가 아들이라는 것입니다.

아들이라는 존재의 정체성이 또한 그렇습니다. 아들이란 정체성은 아버지가 가진 유전적인 것과 또 아버지가 후세에게 기대하는 의가 자신과 동일한 생명의 종으로 형상화된 존재입니다. 그렇게 보면 모든 피조물, 존재하는 모든 것이 가진 간절함은 다른 것이 아니라 아들 곧 자신을 조성하신 이의 의를 나타내는 것이라 할 것입니다. 

그 중에서 가장 결정체가 바로 사람입니다. 세상의 모든 피조물들이 다 하나님의 의를 표현한 것이기는 하지만 세상의 피조물들은 하나님과 같은 생명이 아닙니다. 사람이 핸드폰을 만들었다고 핸드폰과 사람이 같은 정체성을 가진 것이 아닌 것과 같습니다. 하지만 아버지와 아들은 아버지가 사람이면 아들도 사람인 것과 같이, 사람에게서 하나님의 의가 나타나면 그 사람을 아들이라고 하는 것입니다.

하나님과 사람이 같은 정체성을 가졌다고 하는 것은 하나님께서 사람을 만드실 때에 말씀하신 ‘우리의 형상’이라는 것이 그것입니다. 사람은 하나님의 형상을 가졌다는 것입니다. 세상의 자연이 가진 그 위대함은 하나님의 위대함과 풍성함을 표현하지만, 그것을 보고 하나님의 위대함이 아닌 성품을 알 수는 없습니다. 하지만 사람이 하나님의 의를 표현하면 하나님의 위대함이나 능력을 알게 되는 것이 아니라 하나님의 성품을 알게 되는 것입니다. 그래서 사람은 하나님의 아들이 될 수 있는 것입니다.

또한 하나님께서 세상을 만드실 때에 첫째 날에서부터 여섯째 날까지 계속 창조하시다 마지막에 사람을 만드시고는 안식하셨다고 하셨습니다. 안식하셨다는 것은 쉰다는 것이고 그것은 하나님께서 의도하신 목적이 다 이루어졌다는 의미입니다. 그것은 다시 말하면 사람이 하나님 창조의 궁극의 목적이라는 것입니다. 하나님께서 이 세상을 만드신 궁극의 목적은 하나님의 능력이 아니라 성품을 표현하시는 것이었다는 것이었습니다.

또한 하나님께서 세상을 만드시고 세상의 모든 것을 사람이 다스리게 하셨습니다. 하지만 실제로 사람들이 세상의 모든 것을 사람들의 마음대로 할 수 있는 것은 아닙니다. 하나님께서 세상을 만드신 때가 언제인데 아직도 그 말씀이 이루어지지 않았을까요? 물론 선악과의 타락이 있었지만 그렇다고 해도 예수님께서 오셔서 구원받은 사람들은 회복된 아담이니 만물을 다루어야 할 것이지만 그렇지도 않습니다.

하나님께서 아담에게 모든 것을 다스리라고 하신 것은 하나님께서 세상을 만드신 목적 아래 있는 것입니다. 세상의 모든 것을 하나님께서 세상을 만드신 목적에 수렴하도록 하라는 것입니다. 하나님께서 세상을 만드신 목적의 핵심은 하나님의 형상대로 지음 받은 사람이 나오는 것입니다. 그 이전에 만드신 모든 것은 하나님의 형상을 닮은 사람, 곧 하나님의 아들이 나오는 것에 수렴하는 것이라는 것입니다.

따라서 세상의 모든 피조물들은 다스린다는 것은 모든 피조물을 존재 목적 아래 두는 것입니다. 사람이 자기 맘대로 세상을 주무르는 것을 말씀하심이 아닙니다. 그것이라면 예수님도 끝까지 기적을 일으키셨어야 하겠지만 그것이 아니라 하나님의 아들이라는 고백 그것 하나 얻자고 그 모든 기적을 일으키는 능력을 버리신 것입니다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 아들이 나오는 것 그것이 예수님의 모든 기적의 목적이었기 때문입니다.

그와 같이 세상의 모든 피조물들의 존재 목적은 하나님께서 세상을 만드실 때 궁극적으로 두신 목적인 하나님의 아들이 나오는 것을 위하여 있는 것입니다. 즉 모든 피조물을 다스린다는 것은 사람이 하나님의 형상을 닮은 존재, 하나님의 의를 표현하는 아들이 되었을 때 모든 피조물의 존재 목적이 온전하여 지는 것입니다. 그것이 세상의 모든 피조물을 다스리는 것입니다.

그러므로 세상의 모든 피조물이 바라는 것은 사람에게서 하나님의 아들의 모습이 나오는 것입니다. 그것이 바로 바울 사도가 말씀하고 있는 모든 피조물이 고대하는 바는 아들들이 나오는 것이라는 것입니다. 그것이 모든 피조물의 바라는 바요, 하나님이 만드신 것을 다스리라고 하신 하나님의 말씀이 이루어지는 것입니다. 그것은 사람이 하나님의 아들이 되는 것, 하나님의 의가 그 육신의 삶으로 표현되는 것, 그것입니다.

(Romans 8: 18-25) What all creation wants

Every creature in the world, everything that exists, has a form. Everything that people have made, from small things to spacecraft, is also a form of what people can create in another world. And the forms are given the purpose of their existence by people without exception. Even two small rods are made for use when eating rice, and spaceships are made for space travel and exploration.

As such, all creatures have the purpose of self-existence. And it has its own creator. The purpose of existence of all creatures is that they have creators and manufacturers. In other words, the form that all creatures have is a form of righteousness of the Creator. The idea is that people who think that they have to make a move have built a car, and people who think that they should talk to someone who is far away are in the form of a phone.

In this way, the form of all creatures is that the creator's idea has become shaped. The creator's idea that was in the first place was that it was invisible with no form, and it was formulated by the Creator. The Son, who speaks in the Bible, also shares this law with the law. The righteousness of the Father is that the Son is the Son who appears in the form with the same life identity as the Father.

It is also the identity of the being of a son. The identity of a son is a genetic thing of the father, and the thing that the father expects of the future is the same as the one of life that is the same as his own. In this way, all the creatures, the eagerness of all that is, is not different, but a sign of the Son, who created himself.

The most crystal of them is the person. Though all the creatures of the world express God's righteousness, the creatures of the world are not the same life as God. It is as if a person made a cell phone and the cell phone and person do not have the same identity. But the Father and the Son are just as if the Father is the Son, and the Son is the Son.

That God and man have the same identity is what God called 'our image' when He made man. Man has the image of God. The greatness of the nature of the world expresses God's greatness and abundance, but we can not see it and know the nature of God's greatness. But if a person expresses God's righteousness, he does not know God's greatness or power but knows God's character. So man can be the Son of God.

He also created the world from the first day to the sixth day when he created the world. He made man and rested at the end. Having rest is resting, which means that God's purpose was fulfilled. It is, in other words, that man is the ultimate goal of God's creation. God's ultimate goal of making this world was not to be God's power but to express character.

God also made the world and ruled all things in the world. But in fact, people can not do everything in the world at will. When did God make the world, and yet the word was not fulfilled? Of course, there was a fall of good and evil, but even so, Jesus is the resurrected Adam who will come to the rescue.

God told Adam to rule over everything under the purpose God created for the world. That all things in the world should converge on the purpose God has made of the world. At the heart of God's purpose for the world is the coming of a man made in the image of God. All that you have made before that is to converge on the appearance of a man who resembles God's image, the Son of God.

Therefore, the rule of all creatures in the world is to place all creatures under the object of existence. It is not to say that a person is rubbing the world at his will. If it were, Jesus would have raised miracles to the end, but that's not the confession of the Son of God. Because the coming of the Son of God was the purpose of all the miracles of Jesus.

So, the purpose of all creatures in the world is for the coming of the Son of God, which is ultimately the purpose of God when He created the world. In other words, the rule of all creatures is that when a person becomes a son who resembles the image of God, and is a son expressing God's righteousness, the purpose of existence of all creatures is perfected. That is to rule over all the creatures of the world.

Therefore, all the creatures of the world desire the appearance of the Son of God in man. That is what all the creatures that Paul says are expected of sons. That is the hope of all creation, and the word of God that God's rule is to be done. It is that man is the Son of God, and the righteousness of God is expressed in the fleshly life.
