하지만 하나님의 복음은 사람이 사람 그 자체 이상의 어떤 것이 있어야 한다거나, 아니면 보통 사람이 가지지 못한 것이 있으면 아무래도 좋다고 하지 않습니다. 하나님의 복음은 사람이기만 하면 되는 것입니다. 목사여야 한다거나, 방언을 할 수 있어야 한다거나, 돈이 있어야 장로가 된다거나, 고상해야 한다거나 한다면 그것은 모두 하나님의 복음을 대적하는 것입니다. 하나님께서 그러신 적이 없기 때문입니다.
